BOOK of  SHE, A Tribute The GODDESS 

There is much evidence that in the ancient world many societies worshiped a Goddess, this tribute to that history is a hope of what Goddess worship may have encompassed in an ideal society.

Look around you at all that there is to behold that is good in the world. Can there be any doubt that SHE is divine. SHE is the planet that we live on and SHE is glorious.

SHE gives all life 

SHE provides every living thing with nourishment. SHE has given all living things the power to procreate. SHE has provided all that is necessary to sustain life and has created an ecosystem that is filled with wonder. The myriads of her creation are marvelous to behold.

SHE is represented by the elements 

Earth, Water, Air and Fire. The elements themselves represent the basic building blocks of our world. The elements are the keys to Magik and to science. Learn to use the elements in the conditions that they are meant to be used in and you will gain power. Use this power for good and you will gain honor.

SHE has been called by many names

Ertha, Gaia, Tellus, Ida, Joro, Urash, Yer Tanri, Ki, Lurbira, Caillech, Demeter and

Obatala to name just a few. Point is that in numerous different civilizations of the ancient world an earth goddess was acknowledged and worshiped. There were also a myriad of other female deities that represented more specific attributes. The goddess better known to us like Athena, Isis, Ishtar, Venus, Freya and Easter are examples of feminine deities that represented attributes like love, beauty, war, death, wisdom and everything else imaginable.

SHE can be understood in the ancient teachings

Many anthropologist, archeologist and historians now agree that there is strong evidence that an earth goddess was the primary deity worshipped by most prehistoric civilizations. It is easy to conclude that the idea of an earth goddess providing for our existence would naturally stem from the realities of fertility, to include child birth and the cultivation of seeds. Many of these early cultures were matriarchal. And it is suspect that they also possessed a natural if not innate knowledge of the world they lived in. There is indeed much that we can gain from a prehistorically reawaking, a renaissance of such magnitude that it will forever change our destinies.

SHE is four; East, West, North and South

SHE is the whole of the Earth. Therefore SHE is in all parts of the Earth and is for all living things.

SHE is three; Maiden, Mother, Crone

The three forms of the goddess match the three stages of life and the trinity of the Earth, Moon and Sun. As SHE is all three simultaneously at all times so shall we strive to be the same? Each of the three possesses certain attributes to be learned and perfected. Exemplified in the Maiden are passion, beauty, inquisitive energy, independence, courage and dynamic advocacy. Exemplified in the Mother are knowledge, altruistic nurturing, strength, stability and devotion. Exemplified in the Crone are wisdom, honor, enduring love, patience and power. To learn and incorporate all of this attributes when mature is to be exultant. To learn and incorporate all of this attributes when still young is to be exalted.

SHE is two; Yin and Yang

Though SHE is a goddess she possesses both male and female qualities. The duality of existence is undisputed; night and day, cold and hot, war and peace and so on. One cannot exist without the other. SHE is the balance between opposites. Perfection in life is the balance of opposites. Though each individual must conclude their own balance in life it is wise to learn from vicarious experiences as well as from primary ordeals.

SHE is One

SHE brings unity to all things. We may view her in many different forms and attribute many different characteristics to her but SHE is still as SHE as always been.

SHE controls the seasons

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. It is the seasons that we celebrate when we think of the many gifts that SHE provides. For each season brings its own unique gifts. Celebrate the Winter during its solstice, Spring during its equinox, Summer during its solstice and Fall during its equinox. For these are the days that SHE has dedicated for us to remember.

SHE guides the moon

The Moon is her daughter, her sister, herself. SHE guides the Moon to create order in the world. Follow time by the Moon’s order and SHE is pleased. Celebrate in the phases of the Moon for in doing so you will recognize her patterns of life.

SHE unites with the sun

SHE joins with the Sun to create life. Just as a women and a man join to create a child. We are her children. SHE is our mother.

SHE loves truth

There exist universal truths, truths that will set you free. Free from deception. Free from confusion. Free from depression. Free from confinement. Truths that will bring success, harmony, pleasure and fulfillment. Dedicate your efforts to achieving and incorporating these universal truths into your lives and all else will follow.

SHE adores Beauty

Beauty is a universal truth. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is not skin deep. Beauty is both internal and external and each reflects the other. Without beauty one can not be fulfilled.

SHE bestows Wisdom

Wisdom is a universal truth. Wisdom is an understanding of the environment in which we live and of the relationship between that environment and human society. Wisdom is also an understanding of the intricate balances between individuals within human society. Without wisdom man will defeat himself.

SHE provides Strength

Strength is a universal truth. It takes great strength to be gentile: Strength in character, strength of body, strength of mind, strength in spirit. It takes great strength to overcome the destroyers: the greedy, the liars, the ill-mannered and the ignorant. Without strength man will be enslaved.  

SHE rewards Courage. 

Courage is a universal truth. The coward is to be despised. Be brave when challenged by those that would destroy you. Be brave when challenged by the natural wonders. Without courage one cannot stand against evil.  

SHE delights in Passion. 

Passion is a universal truth. Develop passion for learning. Enjoy passion in love. Express passion when standing for truth. Practice passion when performing good works. Without passion one cannot achieve the highest.

SHE holds Honor in high esteem

Honor is a universal truth. Be true to yourself and to the very essence of who you are. Allow others to do the same. To be the teacher with patience and honesty is honorable. To be the leader with humility and altruistic effort is honorable. To be the caretaker with devotion is honorable. To be the defender of justice and liberty is honorable. To be without honor is to be an enemy of all that is good.

SHE is the beholder of Magik

Magik is in the air, and the water, and the ground, in plants and rocks. Magik is everywhere. All we need to do is tap into it. SHE is the way. Learn her Magik and you will benefit in life. Her Magik is pure knowledge in its simplest form and is learned by study and practice. Study the elements, sciences and life forms. Practice spiritual connections and rituals that can bring understanding. Be as a child in your learning for a child is receptive to the truth. Be mature in your practice for only then can you safeguard your progress.

SHE takes life only to renew life

Life is not eternal. All life comes to an end. SHE has many causes to end life some are sudden and indiscriminate while others are predictable and selective. Regardless the manner that life ends it is necessary to bring about new life. Once this is truly understood can peace of mind then be granted.

SHE has been forsaken by men

We now live in a world in which male dominated religions prevail. And it has been so since recorded history. The original religious concept of the Earth Goddess was replaced with male deities usually coupled with strict rules of adherence. Men must have been so threaten by the earlier matriarchs as to want to completely purge the world of SHE. But they did not succeed entirely. The Age of Athena is upon us.   

SHE has been abused

Mother Nature is a common phrase used to summarize our planet, the elements, organic material and all forms of life. The life form we call MAN or Homo sapiens has attempted to overcome, alter and control Mother Nature. In doing so SHE has often been abused. But SHE does always prevail. For SHE is more powerful than all that seek to abuse her.  

SHE has been made evil

In man’s effort to purge the original beliefs in the Goddess they made every effort to demonize her. The witch trials of the late medieval and early modern periods in Europe are horrid evidence of this effort. But deception is evil. And man has indeed proven how deceptive man is. Swear upon her name hostility towards any form of deception, any form of false teachings, any form of domination.

SHE looks with disdain on the liar

Deception is one of the great evils along with greed and ignorance. Deception is used to distort the truth, to ignore the truth or to contradict the truth. Lies are often mingled with partial truths as to disguise the deception. Do not show acceptance towards the liar.

SHE is displeased with the ill mannered

Rudeness is a lesser evil but an evil just the same. To live in a civil society one must be civil. To express disproval of others based solely on trivial differences is to be ill mannered. To display an air of contempt towards the less fortunate is to be ill mannered. To be egotist without cause is to be ill mannered. To be civil does not equate to being totally indulgent to other behaviors. When a behavior contradicts with the universal truths that SHE teaches us then by all means express your disapproval appropriately.

SHE regards ignorance with despise

Ignorance is not to be confused with uniformed or uneducated. Ignorance is the lack of enlightenment, a lack of comprehension or understanding. It is the absence of prudence that leads men to folly. And it is folly that can cause great harm.

SHE is dispirited by war 

War is a product of some men’s greed and other men’s ignorance. But war has been and is likely to continue to be a part of Civilization. SHE has always and will continue to sympathize with those who fight wars to protect, defend or liberate. Do not show eagerness towards war. But do not hesitate to fight when it is right to do so.

SHE hates the greedy

Greed is the root of all evil. It is greed that leads men to lust for power, wealth and dominance over others. And it is man’s lust for dominance that leads him to seek ways to destroy, harm and imprison other species, others of his own and even that of Mother Nature. It is man’s lust for power that leads him to be immoral and to overcome the good in others. It is man’s lust for wealth that leads him to be unethical and to take from others what is rightfully theirs. Do not show tolerance towards the greedy.   

SHE provokes sex for creation, unity and pleasure

SHE is the Goddess of love, passion and sexuality, known to the ancient Greeks as Aphrodite. SHE as given a gift that we should rejoice in but it is a gift that must be received with reservations; achieve physical and emotional maturity prior to engagement, be honest with yourself and with your partners. Otherwise; harm none and do as you will.  

SHE teaches moderation and balance

Perfection is not one extreme or the other but rather the ideal balance of opposites. In most things moderate is the rule. Find balance in your life between opposing truths.

SHE promotes liberation and growth

This famous phrase by Thomas Jefferson is engraved on the ceiling of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC. “I swear upon the alter of God eternal hostility towards any form of tyranny of the minds of men.” Liberty of thought is crucial to individual growth.

But as presented by Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs we must first be liberated from the basic needs of life before achieving higher levels of growth. No person is to deny another of their right to liberty of thought or the opportunity of growth.

SHE tutors art

Art is defined as a skill, occupation or talent acquired by experience, study or observation. To be artistic is to be productive. To be artistic is to be industrious. To be artistic is to be creative.

SHE befriends the believers

SHE will reward those that study her and honor her and respect her and know her. With knowledge comes power. With recognition comes humility. Power combined with humility equates to tranquility.

SHE desires agency

SHE wants each of us to embrace all that SHE has to offer and to assist others to do the same. When we honor her and pay tribute to her we are but expressing gratitude and submission. Submission leads to understanding. Understanding leads to being. Being leads to exaltation. The unity of humanity under her care will result in preservation and fulfillment. The unity of humanity under the malevolent will only result in domination and destruction. Let us unite in her name.

SHE is with us in the beginning and the end   

SHE has not faltered from the beginning, we have. SHE will remain till the end even when we do not. SHE created time in agreement with the SUN and the MOON. But SHE is timeless.

SHE is universal

Discover the universal truths that SHE beholds. For these truths are eternally ours if we but strive to obtain them. SHE is for all humanity and her truth is the same for all persons in all corners of the earth at all times. Reject the teachings of the malevolent that has blinded so many from the universal nature of truth and enslaved so many under the oppression of deception. SHE is the Universal Goddess.
